Series lore and name

As its name implies, the Vampire Cat is a mash-up of myotis and feline features. They are infamous for casting Fizzle while their crusty chums, the Crabber dabber doos, cast Kabuff and lay waste to entire parties.

Using Vampire cat

Vampire cat sits in the Beast family.

In DRAGON QUEST MONSTERS: The Withered World you do not fight beside your monsters — you build the party and command it. Up to four monsters are active with four more in reserve, and synthesis is the main way to raise a keeper: combine two monsters from level 10 and the child inherits the parents' talents, with a Plus Value that can lift it past their rank.
